I will be using Class Dojo for a behavior rewards system. Students will earn points for ideal behavior throughout the day. They can also lose points as well. For so many points they earn, they will earn a reward. The class will work together to earn a class party. Only students with 80% positive points will be able to participate in the party. Students know that they need to work together to earn this party. When they lose a point it is making it harder to reach our goals. Students who do not participate will go to another room to do school work.
Reminders
*Please make sure that your child is on time to school! Breakfast will end at 8:00 as our learning will start at that time. Also, please make sure your child comes to school every day! We do A LOT of learning in Kindergarten that is very important for your child's educational career.
*FRIDAY is always spirit day! Please have your child wear a Valverde shirt! :)
*Reusable water bottles are encouraged! We will send them home on Fridays. Please only water. NO JUICE, GATORADE, OR SODAS
