I will be using our school's TRACKS tickets for individual insentives. TRACKS stands for 'tenacity', 'responsibility', 'academic achievement', 'curiosity', 'kindness' and 'show respect'. When students are showing these traits they will earn a ticket. Once a week they will be able to cash the tickets in to go shopping in our classroom store.
As a class reward, students will vote on what they would like to work towards. When they get compliments as a class or are doing great as a class, they will get a 'chip' to put in the jar. Once the jar is full, the class will earn their reward.
Reminders
*Please make sure that your child is on time to school! Breakfast will end at 8:00 as our learning will start at that time. Also, please make sure your child comes to school every day! We do A LOT of learning in Kindergarten that is very important for your child's educational career.
*FRIDAY is always spirit day! Please have your child wear a Valverde shirt! :)
*Reusable water bottles are encouraged! We will send them home on Fridays. Please only water. NO JUICE, GATORADE, OR SODAS
