In this class, our main goal is to learn to think like a scientist.

• We will work as scientists do – through experiments and discussion as a community.

• We will learn by experiencing setbacks and making mistakes.

• We will use focused practice to improve our skills, rather than just "studying".

Grading Policy: Your grade will be made up of the following:

70% Projects: Cognitive Skills – work and feedback at summitlearning.org

20% Power Focus Areas: Summit Content Assessments & Paper PFAs

10% Additional & Challenge Work: Habits of Success, Explore the World, Challenge Focus Areas and/or Challenge Labs
