RESOURCE CENTER
My name is Boakye, Kenneth and I'm a Ghanaian by birth. I attended the famous Opoku Ware Senior High School in Kumasi and proceeded to Wesley College of Education where I earned my initial Teacher Training Certificate in 1999. After practicing as a Middle school Math, General Science, and Agric Science teacher for 4 years, I moved on to the University of Education-Winneba for my bachelors' and Masters degrees in Mathematics Education. I have taught Math across Middle School, High School, and College levels.
When I moved to the United States, in 2018, I took up a math teaching job with Wayne County Public Schools, where I taught Integrated Math 3/4 (both standard and honors) classes at Eastern Wayne High School in Goldsboro until October 2022 when I moved to Colorado.
My pronouns are He/Him/His. I respond to Mr. Boakye, but also, Mr. B.
What I Believe
I strongly believe above all things that, in the 21st century and going forward, what students need to succeed is not IQ but GRIT. Click here to find out more.
