Contact me

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns! I would much rather you come to me with any small concerns so that we can tackle the problem together or clear up the situation before there is a larger problem or misunderstanding.

Class Dojo: I will be utilizing Class Dojo to communicate behavior, learning, celebrations, homework and folder returns, and more. You are welcome to message me on Class Dojo if you prefer this method of communication, and I will do my best to get back to you as soon as possible. Your Class Dojo account can be accessed both on the computer and through the app on your smart phone. I will be providing information at the beginning of the year so that you can join our class and keep an eye on your child's progress! Please let me know if you need assistance. It is my goal to have 100% parent participation on Class Dojo.

The best way to contact me is through email. I will do my very best to check emails throughout the day and get back to you as soon as possible!

School Phone: 720-424-7789

To minimize disruptions, my classroom phone rings directly to voicemail from 8:30am-3:30pm. I will try and respond to voicemails as promptly as possible. If you have an emergency during school hours, please contact Edison's main office at (740) 424-7780 and they will deliver the message to me.

Weekly Email & Thursday Folder: Each Thursday, I will send an email with important information regarding upcoming events, announcements, homework, and what we are learning in the classroom. If you would prefer a hard copy, please let me know! Thursday folders will also be sent home with important information and you can return forms and notes to me the next day in the folder.

about me

I would love to share a little bit about myself and welcome any questions you may have. I was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois. I graduated from Elon University in North Carolina with a degree in both Elementary Education and Mathematics. I have taught for two years in Illinois, and am excited to start my third year at Edison teaching 2nd grade! I love to snowboard, cook, travel, and teach.

My fiance and I in Greece last summer.
