or message in Schoology,
Can we decorate our cap? The answer: YES!!
Seniors who want to celebrate the milestone of graduation with a self-decorated cap should abide by the following guide. Failure to follow these rules will result in a replacement cap being given to you during commencement at your own cost!
No offensive language, sayings, nicknames, pictures or lyrics on cap. Do not use your cap to bully or mock other graduates/teachers.
No excessive 3D objects may rest on the cap - think ¼ inch or smaller
ALL decorations MUST end at the edge of your cap. No decorations should spill over.
Your cap CANNOT make noise. No bells, horns, or anything that makes noise
It is appropriate to put the following on your cap:
Thank a parent, grandparent, teacher, guardian
Show recognition of your cultural traditions and upbringing
Recognize the university you will be attending
Recognize a group or organization you were involved in while at Lincoln
A full guide with examples and details will be posted in the Class of 2021 group in Schoology!

ICAP
Make sure your ICAP is complete and up-to-date! Go into your Student Portal and click on My ICAP. 12th-grade should be completed through Quarter 3. Additionally, for graduation, you will need to go under "Historical Plans" and make sure grades 9-11 are also complete. We are doing this in Lancer Family THIS WEEK! Questions? Contact Mrs. Ray ASAP!
Seal of Biliteracy
All Seal of Biliteracy candidates received a letter last week from DPS informing them of their status and next steps. Many of you will need to take the AAPPL test from home - PLEASE make sure to do this. The Seal is an incredible honor to earn, and we would love for you all to receive this certification on your diploma and transcript. If you have questions concerning what you still need to do, please let Mrs. Ray know.
