2023-2024 MHS Band Students! (updated  3/27/23)

Preparing for Next Marching Season

All MHS students that are registered for band next school year will be involved in marching band. Below you will find our preseason schedule which helps prepare the students for successful marching band season. Due to the large amount that is accomplished, attendance is crucial and mandatory for all band students. If your student has an unavoidable conflict with any of the dates below, please let Mr. Greene know as soon as you are able. This will help us plan ahead to make up what was missed. Preseason Schedule:

Percussion Audition Clinic/Color Guard Tryouts: April 29th, May 6th, and May 13th

9am - 12pm

Leadership Training (for Section Leaders and Drum Majors): Wednesday, July 12th - Friday, July 14th

Drum Majors: 8am - 9am, All Leadership Team 9am - 12pm

Music Camp and Color Guard Camp (for All Members): Monday, July 17th - Friday, July 21st 

Woodwinds/Brass: 9am - 12pm, Percussion/Color Guard: 1pm - 4pm

Band Camp (for All Members): Monday, July 24th - Friday, July 28th

9am - 4pm, lunch is from 12pm - 1:30pm

Full Band Rehearsal (for All Members): August 1st and August 8th

6pm - 8pm
