BOSAI business idea competition

[ Objective ]

In order to realize disaster resilient society, it is indispensable not only that knowledge and technologies are developed, but also that these are implemented into the society. This competition calls for BOSAI business ideas as one of such implementation measures.

[ Conditions ]

Those who are or have been staying at DPRI as staffs, students, researchers or guests, can apply for the competition. Young staffs and students are encouraged to apply. Only one application is allowed. Application can be by an individual or by a team consisting of multiple persons. For details, please read the document below.

[ Award ]

300,000 JPY is awarded to the best idea. In addition, 100,000 JPY may be awarded to unique idea(s). No obligation is assigned by receiving the award. The award is paid directly by H3 inc., which sponsors this event.

[ Treatment of the submitted documents ]

The submitted documents are used only for the competition. The results of the competition are posted on the event website and may be introduced in media such as DPRI Newsletter. In such cases, applicants concerned are contacted for the permission prior to the publication. Ideas in the submitted documents are attributed to the applicants. It is also emphasized that those who wish to use the idea must be consulted to the applicants for their use.
