Changes in Procedures

OBJECTIVE TEST

1. Objective Tests are now 50 minutes and online at Regionals. ALL Competitors MUST bring their laptops and picture ID. Photocopies, physical IDs, and pictures of IDs will be accepted.

2. Upon completion of the test, members must show an adviser in the testing room that the test has been submitted and turn in all scrap paper

3. Google Translate Chrome Extension will be usable on the test.

PERFORMANCE EVENTS

4. Technology set-up time is now 3 minutes long.

5. NO TECHNOLOGY may be handed to the judges at any competition. Tech must fit on the table in front of the judges (or be held by the performers) and performers control the tech 

Substitution changes:

• Competitors in a team event MUST stay the same through each level of competition.

  • • EX: A team registered for (3) people but one is sick the day of Regionals, the team is now a team of (2) at Regionals, SLC and NLC.

• The only events that allow for substitutions are Chapter Events

Dress Code: a 5-point deduction for Dress Code. HOWEVER if from the UNACCEPTABLE section of the Dress Code…it will be a disqualification.
