Have a student in your class with a Print Disability? (e.g. low vision, dyslexia) make sure you introduce Sora eBooks, AudioBooks & Readalongs.
Personalise reading by giving students a choice of print or digital format
QR Codes: Collect cover images of Collection, print as QR codes directing students to the link to download the title. They can either be put in a folder altogether or laminated and placed around the room
Primary Libraries: Create 'Sora Licence' cards where students have to demonstrate particular Sora skills prior to gaining their licence
Guided Reading: Big Book scenario
Reading Circle: Teacher reads to students
Grammar: Highlight words e.g. Verbs, Adverbs, Adjectives etc (use different colours for each)
Punctuation: Use visual examples in actual texts of the use of colons, exclamation marks, speech marks etc
Information Texts: Highlight aspects of Non Fiction texts
Research Skills: Use Non Fiction texts to teach research and note taking skills

Ensure parents are aware of Sora (perhaps not all parents have access to 'bedtime reading' materials. Sora provides free books for parents to read to their children (or they have read every book at home several times and would appreciate quick and easy access to fresh material)
