Read Across America Challenge!
Can you travel to all 50 states this summer by reading books?
Can your class?
Can the faculty and staff of DSHS?
The Library has an ambitious summer reading challenge to mark the 250th anniversary of the founding of our country. As you read this summer, note the state where
A) your book is set
B) the author lives
C) the author was born, and/or
D) where you are reading!
One book can count for multiple states!
Prizes will be awarded to those who cover the most states AND to the class (freshmen, sophomores, juniors, seniors, or faculty/staff) that covers the most states.
For additional challenges, participate in your town or city public Library's summer reading program OR enter the New York Times Summer Reading Contest .
