On this page you will find overviews of some commonly used tools in our classrooms. Not all classrooms will use these resources. The resources below are separate by grade band, please scroll down to find the section applicable to you. Some resources are used district-wide so you will see them repeated for each grade band.

Reading Eggs
Reading Eggs
Reading Eggs is a web-based, comprehensive phonics and reading program for children age 3 to 12. (Note that Reading Eggs also offers an iOS app.) When students log in, they can either choose to complete activities and games at their current level, or work on activities the teacher has assigned them (or the class). There are songs to sing, books to read, and games to play. Students will enjoy watching themselves grow and level up as they learn phonics skills and reading comprehension.
Math Seeds
Math Seeds
The web-based math program Mathseeds provides K–2 students with lessons, practice, and problem-solving activities. Lessons are taught by fun characters who discuss mathematical ideas and ask leading questions. With cute animal characters and brightly colored scenery, lessons seem more like the cartoons kids love to watch on television -- perfect to keep young kids interested. Videos are interactive, stopping every few minutes to ask questions students can answer with a click of a mouse.
