Hi, my name is Laurie Taylor. My husband, Sandy, and I have lived in Dover for the past 29 years. We have two daughters, a son-in-law, and twin grandchildren that we love spending time with whenever we get the chance. I also enjoy being involved in our church, crocheting, reading, and going to the movies with my husband.
I have dedicated the past 27 years to helping young children grow with confidence and skill. The first 13 years of my career, I was a classroom teacher. I now specialize in reading interventions for students in Kindergarten through 4th grade, providing support to children who need additional help developing strong reading foundations.
Whether your child is working on phonemic awareness, decoding, fluency, vocabulary or comprehension, I use proven, research-based strategies that are tailored to meet each student's individual needs. My goal is to create a supportive and encouraging environment where every child feels safe to learn and empowered to succeed. Reading is the key to lifelong learning, and I am here to help your child unlock that door.
