Hello! I am Ms. Makayla Golden and I am so excited to be joining the Dover Elementary family as a 3rd grade teacher! Although this is my first year at Dover, this is my 6th year teaching, and I truly love helping students learn, grow, and build confidence.

I graduated from Arkansas Tech University with a degree in Elementary Education (K-6) and believe every child deserves to feel valued, challenged, and supported in the classroom.

When I'm not at school, I enjoy spending time with my daughter, Kinsleigh, who will also be starting a new adventure this year as a 3rd grader at Dover Elementary. We are both excited to become part of the Dover community! I also love traveling, reading, enjoying a good cup of coffee, and spending time with our mini Goldendoodle, Maverick.

I'm looking forward to a wonderful year full of memorable experiences!
