Good Mathematics is not about how many answers you know... It's how you behave when you don't know.

About Me

I am so excited to start the 2023-2024 school year!

I am first a wife and mother. My husband and I have been married since 2012. We spent a few years in Texas before moving back to the Russellville area. We have two wonderful, sweet children; Micheal and Amelia. You can always find pictures of them on my desk! Micheal is starting 1st grade at Dover this year.

I love to run and have done many half marathons over the past few years and ran my first full marathon in December 2021! I also love to spend my pastime spinning my flag with the band or playing D&D with my husband and close friends.

I graduated from Arkansas Tech in 2012 with a Bachelor's of Music Education and a minor in Mathematics.  Besides Mathematics 7-12, my teaching license includes Instrumental Music Preschool-12, Vocal Music Preschool-12, and Elementary Education K-6.

I was a substitute, teaching in Pope County for the five years previous to teaching in my own classroom.  With that opportunity I have been able to teach every grade level and every subject.  This will be my fifth full year teaching and my fifth year at Dover High School.
