Welcome to Dover Elementary
Happy Veterans Day
Thank you to our Veterans!
Student of the Month
When it came time for me to pick a student to represent my class as the nominee for Student of the Month, it was easy for me to decide. Ivy immediately came to my mind. Ivy is very conscientious and hard working in my classroom. She has a great attitude, and she is willing to do whatever I ask her to do even if it is difficult for her. I really appreciate that characteristic in her. She is very responsible about completing her work even if it takes her a long time.
When talking about classwork, I cannot brag enough about Ivy. Ivy works hard to do everything asked of her to the best of her ability. If she is struggling with a concept, she is not afraid to ask for help. In addition to working hard in the classroom, Ivy asks for and completes extra work to help her understand concepts better.
Ivy is also a very kind and considerate young lady. She is always willing to help others when they need it whether it is helping someone find something or showing them how to complete their work.
When I think of the characteristics of a Student of the Month, Ivy is the perfect choice. I am so proud she was chosen! Congratulations my sweet girl!

Dover Elementary School will be providing each student- virtual or onsite- with a device for their personal instructional use during the 2020-21 School Year. Students or parents must agree to and sign a technology use agreement before the device will be given to them.
If your student was in Kindergarten last year and still have his or her Ipad, you will keep that device for use during the 2020-21 School Year.
