Mrs. Heaton

My name is Cindy Heaton. I teach grades 2-4 special education. I have been a teacher with the Dover School District since 2006. I started out at the primary building as a first grade teacher. I taught first grade until 2020 when I moved to DES’ ALE class where I taught 1st and 2nd. I’ve been a special education teacher since 2021. I am a graduate of Morrilton High School and Arkansas Tech University. I received my SpEd training from John Brown University.  My husband, Steve, and I live in Russellville and are active members of Central Presbyterian Church. In our spare time, we like to camp, kayak, and spend time with our grandchildren. We also love to watch the ATU Wonder Boys and Golden Suns play basketball and almost never miss a game. I love being a Dover Pirate and can’t think of any place I would rather teach.
