My daily schedule is thoughtfully determined through an extensive review of student data across all K-5 grade levels. By analyzing a variety of assessments and student needs, I am able to identify students who would benefit most from additional reading support. This data-driven approach helps ensure that my time is used effectively to provide targeted instruction and support where it is needed most.

Extra Fun!
Throughout the school year, I enjoy creating and coordinating a variety of fun, engaging schoolwide activities that help foster a love of reading and build excitement throughout our school community. These activities include running the Scholastic Book Fair twice a year in October and June, organizing the Reading Carnival for grades K–2 each March, providing posters and book giveaways for TIGER PBIS assemblies, and keeping our book vending machine stocked monthly with up-to-date and enjoyable titles. I also coordinate exciting school-wide reading challenges and contests, such as Battle of the Books, the Magical Library, and the Book Cover Challenge!
