Meet Mrs. Lazar

My name is Mrs. Lazar, and I am excited to begin another year of teaching! This year marks my 20th year in education. I spent my first 9 years teaching second grade, and this will be my 11th year teaching fifth grade. I truly enjoy working with fifth graders and watching them grow as readers, writers, thinkers, and learners.

On a personal note, I am the proud mom of twin boys who are also going into fifth grade this year! It makes this school year especially exciting for our family.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling, reading, and kayaking. I look forward to making this a fun, meaningful, and memorable year for all of my students!
