Some students receive basic skills instruction—targeted, extra support in reading, writing, or mathematics—to help them build the foundational skills needed for academic success. Students are identified through multiple indicators including assessment data, teacher observation, and academic performance, not just a single test score. This proactive support is temporary and tailored to each child's specific needs, with the goal of building confidence and skills so they can succeed independently with grade-level work. We monitor progress regularly and adjust support as needed. 

 If your child comes to me, it will likely be for 30 minute periods at least 2 times per week.
