Hello! My name is Mr. Fitzgerald, and I am excited to be your teacher! I have been teaching for 20 years, and throughout my career I have had the opportunity to teach students from 3rd through 8th grade. This is my second year teaching 5th grade, and I am looking forward to another great year of learning, exploring, and growing together.
Outside of school, I am married and have three children. Two of my children are currently in college, so I know firsthand how exciting—and sometimes challenging—school can be! Our family also has a dog named Beaux, who keeps us busy and entertained.
I believe that learning should be interesting, challenging, and fun. I enjoy creating hands-on activities, projects, experiments, and opportunities for students to ask questions and discover new things. My goal is to help every student become a confident learner while making 5th grade a year they will remember.
