Video Production

This course was formally titled “Final Cut Pro.” This course will teach students the basics of photography/videography, camera functions, video editing, media analysis, and filmmaking. Students will work individually and in groups to write, shoot, and edit their own projects. Sample student projects during the semester include PSA’s, commercials, parody video, and personal narrative. Selected videos are screened during class throughout the semester to enhance the critique process. Students will learn how to use Final Cut Pro video editing software by Apple as well as other editing software.

Emergency Care/Exercise Physiology

Emergency Care & Clinical Care is a half year course that deals with emergencies before medical help arrives. The course is designed to give the student the knowledge of how to recognize and respond to an emergency. The intent of the course is to help the student feel more confident in his/her ability to act appropriately in the event of an emergency. The second half of the year will be focused on Exercise Physiology.
