Course Description
This course provides a thematic study of the history and cultures of Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas through the disciplines of social studies (history, economics, geography, sociology, etc.).
Syllabus Course 2: US History II:
Course Description: U.S. History I covers American History from the “Road Leading to the Civil War” until the end of World War I. This course will move chronologically and will cover a variety of themes and topics. Our topics for the course will include the Road to the Civil War, The Civil War, Reconstruction, the Industrial Revolution, Immigration, The American West, The Gilded Age, Imperialism, The Progressive Era, and World War I. We will also discuss current events and contemporary issues.
