Hi everyone! My name is Karla Velasquez and this is my 7th year teaching kindergarten/ 1st grade. I graduated from Rutgers University with my masters in elementary education and have spent 7 years working with ESL students. I find great joy in teaching lower elementary students and love to show students how to read. My method of teaching is positive, movement based and values student relationships!
