If your iPad isn’t working right, try restarting it.
To turn off iPad, do one of the following:
On an iPad with a Home button: Press and hold the top button, then drag the slider.
All models: Go to Settings > General > Shut Down, then drag the slider.
Open the command center by swiping down from the top right corner of the screen. Click on the power icon.
To turn iPad back on, press and hold the top button until the Apple logo appears.
