Tracy Gross
This is my ninth year of teaching at Dover Middle School. I graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, New Jersey, with a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Education. I have always known I wanted to be a teacher, and I discovered my love for math in college. During school, math wasn't my favorite subject; however, one professor changed my outlook. My goal every year is to be that teacher for our students. I love helping students realize that math doesn't have to be scary and can be enjoyable with a different approach. I always want to help our students succeed, and I am available after school for extra help in room 120.

Outside of the classroom, I coach the middle school Spring Track team, coordinate the 8th Grade Moving Up Ceremony, and lead the 7th grade field trip each year.

Math has always been my passion, and I believe it's not just about numbers and equations but also about problem-solving, critical thinking, and understanding the world around us. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Mathematics Education from SUNY New Paltz and have taught middle school math for 22 years. My goal is to create a classroom where every student feels comfortable asking questions, exploring ideas, and building confidence in their mathematical abilities.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking, and gardening.
