I have a bachelor's degree in psychology from Montclair State University and a master's degree in teaching from Monmouth University. For the past 15 years, I’ve been teaching math to 7th and 8th graders in Dover, and I’m passionate about helping my students build strong mathematical foundations. Outside the classroom, I’m a huge sports fan and love collecting sports memorabilia. Traveling is another passion of mine, and I enjoy exploring new places with my wife, Sabrina, and our daughter, Maddalena. As Albert Einstein once said, "Pure mathematics is, in its way, the poetry of logical ideas."

Tracy Gross
This is my ninth year of teaching at Dover Middle School. I graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, New Jersey, with a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Education. I have always known I wanted to be a teacher, and I discovered my love for math during my college years. During my school years, math was not my favorite subject; however, I had one professor who changed my outlook. It is my goal every year to be that teacher for our students. I love helping students realize that math doesn't have to be scary and can be enjoyable with a different approach. I always want to help our students succeed, and I am available after school for extra help in room 120.

Outside of the classroom, I coach middle school Spring Track, coordinate the 8th Grade Moving Up Ceremony, and the 7th grade field trip each year.

Math has always been my passion, and I believe it's a subject that's not just about numbers and equations but also about problem-solving, critical thinking, and understanding the world around us. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Mathematics Education from SUNY at New Paltz and have been teaching middle school math for 20 years. My goal is to create a classroom where every student feels comfortable asking questions, exploring ideas, and building confidence in their mathematical abilities.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking, and gardening.
