Seventh and Eighth Grade Family Life
The seventh and eighth-grade Family Life program at Dover Middle School aims to help students develop and maintain optimal health throughout their lives. It is designed to provide students with the necessary information to help them make informed decisions about their health, wellness, and individual lifestyles.
Some topics we discuss during Family Life class include wellness, illnesses and diseases, nutrition, first aid, puberty, reproductive systems, pregnancy, tobacco use, stress management, and goal setting.
Seventh and Eighth Grade Physical Education
The Physical Education Program is designed to promote proper health and safety habits, desirable moral standards, and social attitudes, and to develop students physically by participating in team sports and recreational activities geared toward leisure time in adult life. Our primary goal is to guide students in finding an activity they can participate in to help them lead a lifelong, healthy, and active lifestyle.
