Meet the Teacher:
Welcome! My name is Briana Perez, and I will be teaching English II, Advanced Symposium, and SAT Prep for the 26-27 school year! This will be my fifth year as an English teacher, and my second year teaching at DHS. I graduated from Montclair State University with a Bachelor's degree in English and a Master's degree in Education. I am also certified to teach students with disabilities and have worked as an ICR (In-Class Resource) teacher in the past.
I am a graduate of Dover High School (Class of 2013) and it brings me great joy to teach at the same school where I first discovered my love for literature! I hope to inspire, encourage, and support my students as they set out on their own paths. Let's go Tigers!

¡Bienvenidos! Me llamo Briana Perez y impartiré las clases de Inglés II, Simposio Avanzado y Preparación para el SAT durante el año escolar 2026-2027. Este será mi quinto año como profesora de inglés y mi segundo año enseñando en DHS. Me gradué de Montclair State University con una licenciatura en Inglés y una maestría en Educación. También cuento con certificación para enseñar a estudiantes con discapacidades y he trabajado anteriormente como maestra de recursos en el aula (ICR).
Soy exalumna de Dover High School (promoción de 2013) y me llena de alegría enseñar en la misma escuela donde descubrí mi amor por la literatura. Espero inspirar, motivar y apoyar a mis alumnos mientras emprenden sus propios caminos. ¡Vamos, Tigers!
