Meet the Teacher:

Hello! My name is Briana Perez, and I will be teaching English II, Advanced Symposium and SAT Prep. This will be my fourth year as an English teacher, and my first year teaching at DHS. I graduated from Montclair State University with a Bachelors degree in English and a Masters degree in Education in 2022. I am also certified to teach students with disabilities and have worked as an ICR (In-Class Resource) teacher in the past. 

I am a graduate of DHS (Class of 2013) and it brings me great joy to teach at the same school where I first discovered my love for literature. I hope to inspire, encourage, and support my students as they set out on their own paths!

¡Hola! Me llamo Briana Pérez y enseñaré Inglés II, Simposio de Colocación Avanzada, y Preparación para el SAT. Este será mi cuarto año como profesora de inglés y mi primer año en DHS. Me gradué de la Universidad Estatal de Montclair con una licenciatura en Inglés y una maestría en Educación en 2022. También estoy certificada para enseñar a estudiantes con discapacidades y he trabajado como profesora de Recursos en Clase (ICR).

Me gradué de DHS (generación de 2013) y me llena de alegría enseñar en la misma escuela donde descubrí mi amor por la literatura. ¡Espero inspirar, animar y apoyar a mis estudiantes en su propio camino!
