Supporting us on Patronite – step by step instruction

1. Click on „Zostań Patronem” („Become a Patron”)

2. Choose the monthly amount you’d like to support us with. Click „Kontynuuj →” („Continue →”) to proceed.

3. On top of this page you can choose either to create an account („Zarejestruj się”) or log into existing one („Zaloguj się”). To register an account you can use Google/Facebook/Apple account or you can do it manually.

Registering with Facebook/Google/Apple

Click on the button with the social media of your choice and log in. Allow an access to your data if requested. Continue to be automatically redirected to the next step.

Registering manually:

Type in your: first name („Imię”), last name („Nazwisko”), e-mail, password („Hasło”) and confirm your password („Powtórz hasło”). Check off consents you agree to give (consents marked with a star are mandatory):

- *I have read and accept Terms of Conditions and Privacy Policy („*Zapoznałem się i akceptuję Regulamin serwisu oraz Politykę Prywatności”)

- *I agree to the processing of my personal data that I have provided in the registration form necessary to provide a service by Patronite („*Wyrażam zgodę na przetwarzanie moich danych osobowych podanych w formularzu rejestracyjnym w celu prawidłowego świadczenia usług serwisu Patronite”)

- I agree to receive online marketing communications – a newsletter. This consent can be withdrawn in your account settings. („Wyrażam zgodę na otrzymywanie drogą elektroniczną informacji handlowych – newslettera. Opcja ta może zostać zmieniona w ustawieniach konta.”)

Check off „I’m not a robot” box and click „Zarejestruj się i przejdź dalej” („Register and proceed”) to continue.

4. Enter the security code sent to your e-mail inbox. („Wpisz kod, który wysłaliśmy na Twój adres mailowy”)

(If you are having any issues, additional options will show up in small writing shortly after the page loads)

- You haven’t received the code? Send a new one. („Kod nie dotarł? Wygeneruj nowy kod”)

After typing in security code, you will be autmatically redirected to the next step.

5. After you register/log in, you will be asked to choose the payment method for selected membership level – e.g. level of 50 PLN („Wybierz sposób płatności dla progu 50,00 zł”).

You can check off to be an „Anonymous Patron” („Patron anonimowy”) if you want.

Below you have three payment methods to choose from:

- Pay with card („Płatność kartą”, Visa/Mastercard and GPay to choose from)

Your card will be charged with 50,00PLN once a month („Co miesiąc pobierzemy 50,00zł z Twojej karty płatniczej”)

- Money transfer („Przelew”)

Transfer an upfront payment for as many months, as you want („Wybierz liczbę miesięcy i zapłać z góry przelewem”)

Use this option only if you have polish bank account.

- PayPal payment („Płatność PayPal”)

Your PayPal account will be charged with 50,00PLN once a month („Co miesiąc pobierzemy 50,00zł z Twojego konta PayPal”)

Select the method of your choice and click „Kontynuuj →” („Continue →”) to proceed.

6. If you’ve chosen payment with card, the website will ask you to support Patronite service too. The translation is as follows:

One more thing left… („Jeszcze tylko jedna sprawa…”)

Would you like to become Patronite.pl’s patron too? („Może chciałbyś zostać też Patronem Patronite.pl?”)

Help us create a service allowing thousands of Creators to be paid for their passions! („Pomóż nam tworzyć serwis, dzięki któremu tysiące Twórców może zarabiać na realizowaniu swoich pasji!”)

Choose monthly support for Patronite: („Wsparcie miesięczne dla Patronite:”)

3PLN/5PLN/9PLN/19PLN/29PLN/I don’t want to support („Nie chcę wspierać”, choose the last option if you want to support only Kacper Łukasiewicz, PhD, without supporting Patronite company. You have to choose one of these options to continue.)

Summary („Podsumowanie”)

- You have chosen to support the Author with 50PLN every month (or 10PLN/20PLN)

- You have no payment card saved – you will be asked for card details in the next step („Brak podpiętej karty – w następnym kroku poprosimy o dane Twojej karty”)

Click „I agree, proceed to payment” („Potwierdzam i płacę”)

7. Fill in the blanks with your payment card details:

- First name on the card („Imię posiadacza karty”)

- Last name on the card („Nazwisko posiadacza karty”)

- Card number („Numer karty”)

- Card expiration date („Data ważności karty”)

- CVV/CVC (three digit security code)

Click „Pay” („Zapłać”) to continue

(or „Cancel” - „Anuluj zamówienie” - in the bottom of the page, if you’ve changed your mind)

Pay with PayPal

Log in to your PayPal account and follow its instructions to pay.

8. Do you want to cancel your subscription? Log in to your account on Patronite, choose „Menu” in the top right corner and choose My Subscriptions („Moje subskrypcje”).

Under your active subscription you can find options: „Cancel subscription” („Anuluj wsparcie”) and „Change membership level” („Zmień kwotę”, if you’d like to up your monthly payments). If you cancel your subscription, the website will ask you to confirm – click red „Cancel” („Zrezygnuj”) button to discontinue your support.
