TERMS OF SERVICE

1. AGREEMENT
By downloading or using DoseCheck you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. THE APP
DoseCheck is a medication tracking app for iOS that allows users to log daily medication doses, set reminder notifications, track pill refills, share logs with caregivers, and export medication history. All data is stored locally on your device.
3. PREMIUM SUBSCRIPTION
DoseCheck offers a Premium subscription at $3.99 CAD per month with a 7-day free trial for new users. Premium unlocks unlimited medications, caregiver sharing, cloud backup, and doctor report export. Payment is charged to your Apple ID. Your subscription renews automatically each month unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscription in your iPhone Settings under your Apple ID. All sales are final and no refunds will be issued except as required by applicable law.
4. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
You agree to use DoseCheck only for lawful personal purposes. You agree not to reverse engineer, copy, modify, or distribute the app or its contents. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the medication information you enter.
5. MEDICAL DISCLAIMER
DoseCheck is not a medical device and is not intended to replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult your doctor or pharmacist regarding your medications. We are not responsible for any harm resulting from missed doses, incorrect information, or reliance on the app for medical decisions.
6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content, design, code, and features of DoseCheck are owned by DoseCheck and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DoseCheck shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.
8. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
If you have any questions, concerns, or disputes, we encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue informally. We will make good faith efforts to resolve any dispute within thirty (30) days.
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it may be submitted to binding arbitration, except where prohibited by applicable law. The arbitration will be conducted by a single arbitrator in London, Ontario, Canada, in English, and in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and applicable federal laws of Canada.
Nothing in this section limits your rights under applicable consumer protection laws, including the right to bring a claim in a small claims court where permitted.
9. CHANGES TO TERMS
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of DoseCheck after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
