Key Information

Dorchester Primary School is a 3 form school providing education for children aged 3 to 11. Our site includes playgrounds, a trim trail and use of a large field. We also have a wildlife area, known as Quietopia, where children have recently created homes for a wide range of insects and other wildlife.

Inside the school, we have a large hall, used for assemblies, dance, gymnastics and lunch times as well as a Music studio where instrument and music lessons happen daily. Children in Year 4 receive instrument lessons from the Sutton Music Service.

Children have access to iPads and Chromebooks in class to aid in their learning and provide opportunities to learn new skills to help in an ever more technical world.

Dorchester became part of the Sutton Education Trust in 2017 as one of the founding members creating lasting links with 6 other schools in Sutton. These links have allowed children and staff to collaborate and learn from each other and many events have been held amongst the SET schools.
