This job is used to deliver patients as quickly but also as comfortably as possible. Sometimes instead of an ambulance, to reach remote places, they deploy special air helicopters.
Skills required
The skills required are as listed: patient,caring and calm. They must also have a quick reaction time to avoid road disasters. Also they have to be able to encourage and reassure in case of dealing and transporting nervous or mentally-disabled patients. In short this job isn't for everyone.
Pay and qualifications
Their average pay range from £23,500 to £32,000 annually depending on senerioty.No specific qualifications are needed for this job but employers tend to choose employees with 4 - 9 A s in GCSE.
