Librarian Information:

Hi everyone!

My name is Ms. L. Aranda, and I’m proud to serve as your librarian at W.A. Todd Middle School. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Education with a major in English from the University of Texas–Pan American, and my Master’s degree in Library Science from Sam Houston State University. I am certified as an EC–12 Librarian and in ELAR for grades 6–8.

Before becoming a librarian, I taught ELAR, and I’m now in my fifth year here at Todd. I’m excited to support our students, staff, and community as we work together to reach our learning goals.

I strongly believe in the power of knowledge and everything a library represents. Every person has the ability to grow, explore, and become a lifelong learner.  The library is the perfect place to start.

I look forward to sharing my love of reading with all of you! 📚✨
