Hello!

My name is Concepcion Gonzalez.  I am a graduate from the University of Texas-Pan American, where I earned a Bachelor’s of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance.  I also earned a Master’s in Library Science and a Master's in Education, in Curriculum and Instruction.  I am an EC-12th Certified Librarian as well as 4th - 8th ESL Generalist.

This will be my second year at A.P. Solis Middle School and my fourth as a librarian where just a few short years ago, I was teaching in a classroom.  I know the importance of my role as a support for the curriculum, our students, staff and community.  I am excited to be your librarian and support you in any capacity.  I am a firm believer in everything a library represents.  To me, a library represents knowledge and the power within each of us to learn and become life-long learners.  I enjoy reading and I look forward to sharing my love of reading with all of you!
