All of our counselors are current graduate students in or recent graduates of the Department of Counseling Psychology at Dominican, supervised by a licensed psychologist, licensed clinical social worker, or Licensed Marriage & Family therapist. They are completing training hours which are required for licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and/or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in addition to graduate courses related to the practice of counseling and psychotherapy. If you wish to know the name and contact information for your counselor’s supervisor, they will provide that to you.
