Do you have a roadmap to reach your goal and be an occupational therapist in 3 years?
Here are some steps to help you connect the dots and create the roadmap:
1. Study the 3-year OT curriculum plan and the described content for each course in the DUC Academic Catalog (online) .

3. There are 3 different phases in your journey. Year 1 curriculum (Fall+Spring semesters) focuses on exploration, while year 2 is to attain competency in clinical knowledge and basic skills, and year 3 is to accomplish achievements.
4. Can you connect the dots and tell how the course sequence will prepare you to be an entry-level occupational therapist ? What are the relationships of the different courses? How is the course sequence fulfill exploration, competency and achievements in 3 years? How do you think the 5 curricular themes be weaved in the curriculum?
5. How do you prepare yourself to follow the roadmap? What are your goals for each of the phases on the roadmap?
