The mission of the Associated Students of Dominican University of California (ASDU) is to enhance the quality of life for the student body at large by addressing student concerns and coordinating student-led initiatives and by communicating with University Representatives to make decisions in the best interest for all students. ASDU is the governing body that represents and advocates for all student rights, regardless of identity, gender, race, ethnicity, creed, nationality, sexuality, ability, immigration status, and religion. It is the mission of ASDU to uphold and build upon the traditions, values and ideals of the University. ASDU exists as an informed and professional entity that actively serves as a catalyst for student and campus development. ASDU works towards cultivating strong relationships among the students, faculty, staff, and administration of Dominican University as well as the greater Marin community.
The Executive Board focuses on advocating for the Dominican study body. The Executive Board meets with university committees and administrators to discuss policy changes, relay information to the general student body, and represent students to the university.
The ASDU Senators are responsible for serving as student representatives on university committees, internal task forces, and working groups as it relates to student affairs. The primary responsibility shall be to provide student input and advance student-led initiatives.
