Let's celebrate National GEAR UP Week!
September 21st through 25th
We plan to celebrate National GEAR UP Week by hosting virtual events to get you and your family excited about college and the endless opportunities that will be provided through this program.
Keynote Speaker and Student Panel
We will kickoff National GEAR UP Week with keynote speaker, Raven the Science Maven. Raven is a nationally-acclaimed science communicator and molecular biologist who is known for combining science, hip-hop music, and cultural awareness that empowers students to learn about the importance of STEM. Raven will also be joined by a panel of GEAR UP Dougherty students who will talk about their college and career aspirations.
