Gymnasium

Another gymnasium renovation phase was completed on , April 28, 2020, and was celebrated through a Turn-Over Ceremony. It was attended by Ms. Rhoveca G. Abalde, manager of DUBC Construction Corporation, and the College’s Management Team, headed by President Joy M. Sorrosa, witnessed by several faculty members, staff, and student council president, Hon. Severino C. Agliam III.

The renovation included the installation of vinyl flooring and steel bench, elevation of ceiling above the stage area, addition of air-conditioning equipment, sound system, LED wall, shot clock, and fiberglass chairs. In a short program, Director for Administrative Services, Mr. Kenny Allan P. Benigno, traced the funding and the series of renovation that the gymnasium had undergone over the years. He duly accepted the turning over, in behalf of the College, while Dr. Sorrosa appreciated the hardwork that was put into the project by both the contractor and DNSC personnel in her message.

After the program, guests and officials went inside the gymnasium and viewed the improvements. Another contract signing capped the activity, where DUBC was officially awarded the task on renovating the College’s Audio-Visual Room. These projects were aimed toward improving the campus experience of the students and other stakeholders, especially on activities that promote holistic development.
