In line to the celebration of the Social Work Month, we embark on a journey of reflection and action. Together, we celebrate the essence of Sinugdanan, a Visayan term that embodies the spirit of beginnings and origins. Tinubdanan reminds us of the humble beginnings of Social Work, rooted in compassion and driven by the innate desire to uplift and empower those in need.

With this year's theme " Buen Vivir: Shared future for transformative Change".

Together, we're rocking the month where compassion leads the melody!

Last 24th day of October 2023, the department helds its Program Orientation which entails the salient journey of a social work student. At the same day the Newly Elected JSWAP-DNSC Chapter Officers of A.Y 2023-2024 took their oath of office and swore to extend their service to the Social Work Studentry. Freshmen to Seniors gather as they get to know each other and say their loud yells of fun and blasting excitement for this academic year.

Get ready as we will have a fun and amazing ride this year!

The JSWAP- DNSC Chapter Officers together with their Adviser Ma’am Joanaros Fahit and the BSSW Faculty of Davao Del Norte State College successfully  conducted their first activity  for the A.Y  2022-2023. The “Pagpakighiusa 2022” was participated by the talented and brilliant students of the BS Social Work Program.

Indeed, the activity has provided platform for students to strengthen their camaraderie and unleashed variety of talents and incredible wit.
