Educational Background and Experience
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Integrated Educational Studies and a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction, both from Chapman University. My professional career in education has spanned roles in both general education and special education, providing me with a well-rounded understanding of diverse learning needs and instructional practices. Working in these settings has allowed me to develop expertise in designing inclusive, student-centered learning experiences, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and implementing effective instructional strategies to support the academic and social-emotional growth of all students.

My educational philosophy is centered on creating a supportive, inclusive, and engaging classroom where every student feels valued, challenged, and empowered to grow. I believe that all students can succeed when they are provided with meaningful learning opportunities, high expectations, and the encouragement they need to reach their full potential. This year, students and families can look forward to a collaborative learning environment filled with hands-on activities, opportunities to build confidence and independence, open communication, and a strong focus on both academic achievement and social-emotional growth. I am excited to partner with families to make this a positive and successful school year for every student.

Life Outside of the Hawk's Nest
Life Outside of the Hawk's Nest
Outside of the classroom, I enjoy staying active by playing golf and pickleball—I spent much of this past summer on the course and the courts! When I'm not at work, you can usually find me walking my dog or working on improving my golf swing. I'm also passionate about the performing arts and enjoy listening to music, attending live theater productions, and even performing on stage from time to time.
