Educational Philosophy and What To Expect in Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapy is a health profession that works in a variety of settings across the lifespan. In the schools, occupational therapists works as a related service provider to help children best access their education in a least restrictive environment. I believe in student voice as well as collaboration with all IEP team members. I look forward to sharing my knowledge with my educational teams as well as serving students to increase their independence.
I grew up in the Boston area and moved to San Diego to be closer to family and for the weather! I am an avid runner and also love traveling, hiking, yoga, and being with family and friends. I look forward to getting to know you and your child this year.
