I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Elon University in North Carolina and my Master’s degree in Special Education from Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego. I began my teaching career as a fourth-grade teacher in Chicago before transitioning into special education after moving to San Diego. I feel grateful to be apart of the OA community!

I believe students learn best when they feel confident and empowered in themselves as learners. I strive to help students understand how they learn, recognize what they need, and build confidence in their abilities. My goal is to support each student’s individual needs so they have full access to learning at Ocean Air while also finding joy in the process.

Life Outside of the Shark Tank
I’m originally from New Jersey and lived in Chicago before moving to San Diego nearly five years ago. I love calling San Diego home and spend much of my free time enjoying the outdoors, especially at the beach. My Fiance (husband in October!) and I enjoy traveling, whether it’s visiting family in the Midwest or exploring new places abroad. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, taking yoga classes, and cooking.
