Hi Everyone,

My name is Chase Horton and I am so excited to be joining Del Mar Hills Academy this year as a 3rd grade teacher. This will be my fifth year teaching elementary school. I spent two years at Ocean Knoll in Encinitas as the Garden Sciences Teacher, followed by two years teaching in private schools (2nd/3rd grade combo at Sol Village in Encinitas and, most recently, a 4th-6th grade combo class at an international school in Nicaragua named Escuela Santa Ana). I grew up in Encinitas and am thrilled to be back with this community we're lucky enough to call home. I am looking forward to a great year!
