Educational Background and Professional Experience:
After earning my undergraduate degree at UCLA, I completed my Multiple Subject teaching credential and Bilingual Authorization in Spanish at CSU San Marcos. I taught 4th grade for two years before coming to DMUSD as a Primary STEAM+ Spanish teacher in 2022.
I am delighted to be teaching 4th grade Spanish Immersion at Ashley Falls for the third year!

One of the greatest joys of my role is supporting each and every student to achieve incredible personal growth and to make a positive impact on others. Each year I set out to create a caring and engaging classroom environment where students are excited to collaborate, inspired to think creatively, and prepared to persevere through the next challenge. I also aim to tap into the power of a strong teacher-family relationship to help each student shine both in and outside of the classroom.

I absolutely love being outdoors, especially near the ocean. I've even taken my cat, Scipio, to the beach a couple of times! I also love to read (in both English and Spanish), play guitar and piano, sing, run, try new food, climb, and spend time with my cousins.
