Title: How to Isolate the Set of Zeros of Real Polynomials
Speaker: Jean Fernandes Barros
Affiliation: Universidade Estadual de Feira de Santana (UEFS)
Abstract: In this talk, using a different strategy from that adopted in Barros and Leandro (2020), we construct a finite covering that isolates the set of zeros of real polynomials in two variables, which we call a localization of the set of zeros of the polynomial. But, as before, the method used to obtain it is inspired by Vincent's Theorem and Descartes' Rule of Signs, via appropriate Möbius transformations.
