We are excited to announce a unique opportunity exclusive for De La Salle Santiago Zobel (DLSZ) students!
Project C.E.L.E.S.T.E (Cultivating Exploration, Learning, Excellence, Science, Technology, and Engineering) provides a meaningful and transformative learning experience for the students to pursue STEM careers through hands-on space exploration activities and direct engagement with NASA experts.
Through collaboration with the NASA HASSE Space School Program, we invite our DLSZ students to participate in an immersive experience from December 11 to 22, 2025, in Houston, Texas, USA. The C.E.L.E.S.T.E Program includes realistic simulations such as Mars missions, resource management, and rocket launches, helping students develop essential skills in teamwork, crisis management, and innovation. They will be given the opportunity to work in dynamic environments such as NASA’s Neutral Buoyancy Lab and Mission Control Centers and learn to tackle real-world challenges. This experience cultivates critical 21st-century skills, preparing students to lead in a globalized, technology-driven future.
"I would describe it as a memorable and fun experience to look back on, while in hindsight it seemed short, I enjoyed every second of it, taking in every experience as if I was a child learning these things for the first time and experiencing them with unprecedented joy, needless to say this checked off one of my bucket lists. I enjoyed the Habitat making and Aircraft carrier, it was so much fun for me and I would love to do these things again. I believe it helped open up a new fresh perspective for me and allowed me to pursue my academic dreams with more passion, I always wanted to be the people in those rockets, in those control centers, and this was a step towards that dream." - Santino Emmanuel Edralin (DLSZ 2026)
"My experience at NASA HASSE Space School was really fun and informative. I was exposed to new things and new places, it was really exciting to learn new things and explore with the new friends that I have made throughout this program. Everything that we’ve done in this program was very enjoyable and memorable to me. Though I enjoyed the simulation we had, operating the shuttle the most. It requires a lot of teamwork and cooperation in order to complete each of the tasks assigned to us depending on our roles. This was a really fun experience since I was able to grasp how things work within the crew and around a space shuttle." - Anne Gwyneth Tan (DLSZ 2027)
