Introduction
The purpose of my OJT is to firstly, familiarize myself with a workplace set up, stimulate potential employment opportunities, and apply my competencies in an authentic work environment. Through this experience, I aim to enhance my skills in real-world scenarios while allowing me to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. I also hope to develop the flexibility to adapt to various challenges, ensuring that I can implement effective solutions that cater to end-users' needs. Ultimately, I look forward to building a strong foundation for my future career while gaining insights into the professional world connected to my course.
Company Profile
In 1972, the Madrigal family offered to sell a large tract of land in Alabang, Muntinlupa to Ayala Corporation. Instead of buying the land, Ayala Corporation offered its real estate development expertise and formed a joint venture with the Madrigal family. In 1977, the company developed the property into a residential-commercial district with provisions for educational, health, and recreational facilities. The village, initially named New Alabang Village, began on August 15, 1978, with the registration of the articles of incorporation of the New Alabang Village Association (NAVA) with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). In 1981, Barangay Ayala Alabang was created, with Don Enrique Zobel as its first Barangay Chairman. In 1985, the association was renamed Ayala Alabang Village Association (AAVA) and in 2019, AAVA moved into its newly-renovated office.
