The Lasallian Educational Mission is the ongoing work and legacy of Saint John Baptist de La Salle and the Brothers of the Christian Schools, shared today by Lasallian schools, educators, and students all over the world. At its heart, the mission is about providing a human and Christian education—especially to the poor, vulnerable, and marginalized—through faith-filled, inclusive, and excellent teaching.
It is more than just academics. The mission forms the whole person—mind, heart, and spirit. It promotes values that help students become not only knowledgeable but also compassionate, responsible, and faith-driven leaders in society.
To provide quality education for all, especially those in need.
To form minds and touch hearts, helping students grow in both intellect and character.
To build inclusive and caring learning communities grounded in faith, respect, and service.
To inspire a life of service, where students use their talents for the good of others.
Faith in the Presence of God – Believing that God is always with us.
Concern for the Poor and Social Justice – Prioritizing the needs of the most vulnerable.
Respect for All Persons – Recognizing the dignity and worth of every individual.
Inclusive Community – Creating safe spaces where everyone belongs.
Quality Education – Striving for excellence and lifelong learning.
The mission is lived out by Lasallian teachers, students, alumni, and partners-in-mission who continue the work of Saint La Salle today—not just inside classrooms, but in the way they serve, lead, and care for others.
