DLSZ ICHTHUS CHAPEL
A Center for Faith, Service and Communion
Rising at the heart of the DLSZ Vermosa Campus, the Ichthus Chapel will serve as the spiritual home of the Lasallian community—a place for prayer, reflection, and meaningful liturgical celebrations.
Designed to seat 600 worshippers, will host liturgical celebrations, daily masses, recollections, and Lasallian formation programs for students, families, and the surrounding Vermosa community.About the Chapel
The Ichthus Chapel, the main chapel of De La Salle Santiago Zobel School in Vermosa, is envisioned as a center of faith and formation.
It is a place that will inspire young Lasallians to build a lifelong relationship with Christ.
The Ichthus, a Greek word meaning “Jesus Christ, Son of God, the Savior,” was used by early Christians as a symbol of faith. It also reflects Christ’s call to His followers to become “fishers of men.”
According to Br. Bernard S. Oca FSC, President of De La Salle Santiago Zobel School, the chapel serves as a reminder that Jesus calls His disciples to live out His mission. It will be a place of worship and prayer where the Lasallian community can deepen its faith, celebrate meaningful liturgies, and grow in service—especially to the poor and marginalized.
A Vision Taking Shape
The ICHTHUS Chapel was conceptualized and designed by Architect Duke Sage of The Sage Group and the initial structure was donated and built by the Teodoro Construction Corporation Inc. Both companies were also in charge of the design and construction of the following buildings in the Vermosa Campus:
The Spark Building,
Senior High School Building,
Engineering Center, and
The newly-constructed Grade School and Junior High School Building.
Mr. Ramon F. Villavicencio then donated to the completion of the Chapel, including the surrounding ponds.

Fishers of Men Wall
Inside the Ichthus Chapel will be a special installation called the Fishers of Men Wall.
Inspired by the early Christian symbol of the fish, individuals and families who support the chapel will be represented by a fish marker displayed within the sacred space.
Together, these symbols will form a quiet testament to a community united in faith.
Donation Packages
This portion of the chapel will give recognition to generous donors and the amount received will be classified into different packages.
Our Community of Support
We gratefully acknowledge the individuals, families, and partners whose generosity has helped bring the Ichthus Chapel to life. Their support reflects a shared commitment to building a sacred space where faith, prayer, and community will flourish for generations
